"All aboard!" ... STEEL & WOOD is a Bluegrass band based in Petoskey, Michigan. We offer an upbeat and heartfelt, string and harmony - based repertoire harkening back to American railroad culture and musical traditions emanating from Southern Appalachia. Our material spans the works of Bill Monroe, Ralph Stanley, Jim and Jesse McReynolds, and others, combined a sampling of select originals and folk/classic country numbers.

Our 2nd album, "Songs of Steel and Wood" is a 2 disc project to include 22 tracks from our recording session of 10/12/22. Anticipated release in 2/2023, including several original songs..
